THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD
    (VICTORY ASSEMBLY) SIDCUP

RCCG Victory Assembly is one of the four hundred and fifty parishes of RCCG World Wide in the United Kingdom. The RCCG mandate is to make heaven, to take as many people as possible with us and to accomplish this; emphasis is laid on holiness as well as establishing parishes within five minutes driving distance in every city and town to make it accessible to all people in accordance to the word of God in Acts 1:8. The church is to impact and transform the communities in the cities of all Nations including London.

The mode of our services is scripture based. We start our services with Praise and Worship because God does not eat food like the carnal man but only lives on the praise and worship of his people. In Psalm 100:1-4, it implores us to enter the gate of the Lord with thanksgiving and his court with praise because in His presence there is fullness of joy. (Psalm 16:11).

RCCG was established on prayers and intercession as such in the course of our services we create time to pray for ourselves, families, churches, nations. For instance, Daniel was able to know and interpret the dreams of the King Nebuchadnezzar through prayers. (Daniel 2:14-28). Likewise, the man, Blind Bartimaeus whose name meant honourable was begging but turned things around for himself when he cried (prayed) aloud against those that tried to shut him up and hinder him from getting the attention of Jesus Christ. (Mark 10:46-52). And when Esther heard about the situation of her people, she sent a message to all the Jews to pray and fast (Esther 4:15-17) and their lives were spared of the imminent death.

Apart from the praise & worship and prayers, we sing hymns and study the word of the Lord in order to ensure that the doctrine we teach is the clear, straight forward, understanding of the undiluted Word of God (2 John 1:9). More so God said there must be no personal interpretation of the bible because God said that nothing should be added or subtracted from the Word. (Revelation 22:18-19).

For those that had been deceived or do not know the way, Jesus Christ gave the opportunity to repent and follow him, (John 3:3-7). This opportunity is regularly given in the course of our services for people to repent of their old ways and follow Jesus Christís way of life. (Acts 2:36-39).

Lastly, people are encouraged to give in appreciation of God for what He has done and will yet do. This is for the work to continue in order for the whole world to hear of the good news of Christ and be transformed. (Psalm 96:8-9). With this new life in everyone, the people are encouraged to embark on various community activities and outreach (evangelism) in other to reach out to the needy and those that are yet to hear of the Good News of Christ. (Romans 10:15).
